Rebel Fire Bask 1996-2006

1993 Purebred Arabian Gelding
TC Fire Fire x Breezie Bask

Rebel died in a tragic trail accident on July 9, 2006 while training for the 2006 Tevis Cup. Rebel was an exceptional horse and he will be missed by many. He taught me how to train to compete against the elite and strive to become an international and local representative of the sport of endurance horse racing. He was my greatest horse out of over 20 horses that I have actively competed on over the past 20 years. The loss of him brings me great sadness so I try to remember the wonderful memories of the joy I had while riding him.

Endurance Highlights:

  • 2006 USEF National Training Squad for the World Endurance Championships in Aachen, Germany which are held at the World Equestrian Games August 21, 2006

Rebel is a half brother to our mare Chiefs Baskette. We have been so pleased with "Rebel" that we hope to re-create some of his endurance talent through her foals. Rebel is a true 16 hand purebred Arabian gelding and he is 12 years old. Rebel was rescued from an abusive trainer three years ago and is now developing his "new" career as an endurance horse.

Golden Knight

Knight Invader x CR Sahara Gold
(Friesian x 3/4 Arabian)

June 11, 2003

“G” is now four years old and has been enjoying his under saddle training. He is ready to venture onto the trails and possibly some open breed shows later this year. He is a special horse since he is blind on the left eye due to an eye injury at two months of age. He has grown into a 16 hand handsome fellow and with his unique breeding and color he should be a standout on the trail and in the show ring.
